Cosmic Kids Yoga:  Teacher Notes

In my classroom we're constantly moving and dancing and exploring the space.  This fun series of videos lets kids explore yoga along with a story/narrative. One of my favorites is the Star Wars video, which I'll post below.

What I share with kids:

Time to get up and move!  In music we spend a lot of our time talking about locomotor and nonlocomotor movement.  Locomotor is when you move through the space and nonlocomotor is when you move in your own space.  In this video you'll get to explore the Star Wars galaxy while moving, stretching, and posing in nonlocomotor ways.
